What is BCLTE?

The Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) is a government exam administered by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in the Philippines. Passing the BCLTE grants you Local Treasurer Eligibility (LTE), which is a valuable credential for government jobs in local treasury offices. It demonstrates your knowledge of financial management, local government laws, and treasury operations. This eligibility is considered equivalent to other mid-level civil service positions and can even be used for some private sector financial roles.
